Which machine is the job on right now?

That is the most frequently asked question on any CNC shop floor. The answer usually lives in three separate places: a spreadsheet, a WhatsApp group and the paper traveler next to the machine. All three may be correct, but none of them is current at the same time. We built Spindeo so that this question has one answer.

What is Spindeo?

Spindeo is production tracking software for CNC and machine shops. It is not a full ERP and does not try to be one. There is no accounting, payroll or purchasing module. There is one job: from the moment a work order enters the shop until it ships, show which machine it is on, which operation is running and who has it.

How we built Spindeo

At Pumpmedya we have worked with manufacturing companies for years and kept seeing the same picture: modern machines, tracking on paper.
