A quote engine for custom-engineered steel: Megprojec.

How we built Megprojec, a manufacturer of e-houses, crane cabins and custom steel structures, an English-first website where every page sells engineering capability and ends at the same door: tell us your project, get a quote.

When every product is engineered to order, there is no price tag. There is only the conversation.

The Context

Overview

Megprojec builds the steel the heavy industries stand on: e-houses, crane cabins and containers, control rooms, platforms and welded structures, engineered to order for oil and gas, offshore, mining, cement and steel plants. None of it has a list price. Every sale begins with a buyer describing a project.

In 2024, in one month, we built the website that starts those conversations. It is English-first by design, because the buyers are across borders, and it sells the things an industrial buyer actually vets before talking: design capability, the product range, quality systems, and the logistics and customs experience that gets heavy steel through a border without drama.

Structurally it is a quote engine. Services, products and industries each get their room to convince, and every one of those rooms exits through the same door: tell us your next project, get a quote.

The Problem

The Challenge

Products with no price tag, buyers on other continents, and trust that must be earned before the first call.

Every product is a one-off; the site had to sell capability, not a catalogue of prices.

The buyers sit across borders; the site had to speak English first and think in exports.

Industrial buyers vet standards before people; quality systems had to be visible, not claimed.

Six industries, four service lines, one goal; every path had to end at a quote request.

What We Built

Capability up front, one door out.

An English-first corporate site for an export manufacturer: design, products, quality and logistics each making their case, and every page ending at the same quote request.

The Impact

Heavy steel, light path to a quote.

Quote-first
Every page ends at the same door: tell us your project.
Export-first
English by design, for buyers across borders.
Custom
No price tags; the site sells capability and starts conversations.
Pipeline-linked
Quote requests flow into a CRM the sales team works.
The Outcome

The bottom line.

Megprojec went live in a month with a site that does the vetting on the buyer's behalf: capability, range, standards and border experience laid out in the language its markets read, with a quote request waiting at the end of every path.

The enquiries it collects do not scatter into an inbox; they flow into a CRM where the sales team works them, and that pipeline has a story of its own. What the site settled is the front of the funnel: when a plant on another continent needs an e-house or a crane cabin, the conversation now has an obvious place to start.
