Starting rates are shown so you can sense-check us before you ring. Every consignment is priced on its own lane and confirmed in writing the same working day.
Full and part loads
Curtainsider, box and flatbed up to 26 tonnes payload. Dedicated vehicle, one driver, straight from your loading bay to the consignee with no handling in between.
European road freight
Groupage and full loads to France, Benelux, Germany, Spain and Italy on fixed weekly departures. Ferry and tunnel space is held in advance, so a missed cut-off does not cost you a week.
Customs clearance
Export and import declarations filed in house under our AEO(C) authorisation. Commodity codes are checked before the vehicle moves, not at the border.
Warehousing and pick and pack
84,000 square feet across four sites, racked and ambient, BRCGS audited. Stock is visible to your account team, with pick and pack for retail and direct to consumer.
Abnormal and project loads
Low loaders, extendable trailers and route surveys for plant, tanks and fabricated steel. Notifications and escorts arranged with the police and the highways authorities.

What counts as a pallet here.
Anything over the height or weight for its band moves up to the next one. If you are not sure, send a photo of the load on the pallet and a planner will band it for you.

Base rates apply on a Gloucester trunk, excluding VAT, fuel surcharge and the destination zone uplift shown on the home page. Zones run from included in the South West and Severnside to plus £48 for Northern Ireland and Europe.

The things people ask first.
16:00 for collections inside GL, BS, BA, SN and WR. 14:30 elsewhere in England and Wales. Anything later goes on the following night trunk unless you ask for a dedicated vehicle.
Yes. Trade accounts are opened on two satisfactory references and a credit check, usually within three working days. Standard terms are 30 days from statement.
Signed and photographed PODs appear in your account portal within an hour of delivery, and every invoice line carries its consignment number so you can match them without ringing us.
We carry goods in transit cover to £250,000 per vehicle as standard. Higher single-consignment limits are arranged in advance and confirmed on the rate.
Yes, ADR limited load and full load. Nine drivers hold current ADR certification and we have a qualified dangerous goods safety adviser on retainer.
It is photographed where it is found, quarantined and reported to your account manager the same day. Claims are acknowledged within two working days under RHA conditions of carriage.
