How to find us
- Leave the A591 at the Grasmere south turning, signed Rydal Water.
- Cross the stone bridge over the beck and turn left into Rydal Beck Lane.
- The inn is 400 metres along on the right, past the old chapel. The lantern is on.
Without a car
Train to Windermere, then the 555 bus towards Keswick. Get off at Rydal Beck Lane, a four-minute walk. We will collect from Ambleside for late arrivals if you tell us the time.
Parking and dogs
Twelve spaces in the courtyard, free for guests. Electric charging on two bays. Dogs stay in Nab Scar or Rydal Water and are welcome in the bar and garden.
