Paul Fenwick left a main dealer in 2006 because he was tired of selling work nobody needed. The rule he opened with is still the rule: ring the customer, show the part, quote the job.
Independent, and staying that way.
Six of us, all employed, all on the same site. We are a DVSA approved MOT centre VTS 41892, so your test is done here rather than driven across town. The viewing window into the MOT bay is there for a reason: you are welcome to watch your own test.

Book in 30 seconds
Put your registration in, pick a slot, done. We text you the morning before as a reminder.
Drop the keys
Park on site, hand the keys over and take the courtesy car if you need it. Or wait in the office with the kettle on.
We call before we start
If the test finds something, you get a photo, a price and a phone call. Nothing happens until you say yes.
Pay what you were quoted
The invoice matches the call. Old parts kept for you to see, and the retest is free within ten working days.

How early can I book an MOT?
You can test up to one month minus a day before the current certificate runs out and keep the same expiry date. We text a reminder four weeks ahead if you ask us to.
What happens if it fails?
We photograph every failure item, price the repair and ring you. If you would rather take it elsewhere, that is fine. The retest is free within ten working days either way.
Do I have to use a main dealer to keep my warranty?
No. We can service a car under manufacturer warranty as long as we use the right specification parts and oils and stamp the record, which is exactly what we do.
Can I wait while the work is done?
For an MOT or a tyre change, yes. The waiting room has a viewing window into the bay. For anything longer, take the courtesy car or let us collect and return within five miles.
Do you test vans and campervans?
Class 7 up to 3,500kg, so most transit-sized vans and small campers. Ring first with the weight if you are not sure which class you need.
