For forty or fewer
Intimate
A ceremony by the fire in the Drawing Room, drinks in the Walled Garden, then one long table in the Orangery. No dance floor, no evening guest list, home before midnight.
Northleach, Cotswolds · licensed since 2009
A Cotswold hall, a tithe barn and 26 acres above Northleach, yours from ten in the morning until half twelve at night. One coordinator, no second party in the building, and a price that is fixed the day you book.
Availability shown here is part of the demo. On a live site this reads your real diary, and a date you hold is a date nobody else is shown.
Three ways to do it
Every package is venue hire with exclusive use. Catering is quoted separately by whichever of our four caterers you choose, so you are never paying us a mark-up on food.
For forty or fewer
A ceremony by the fire in the Drawing Room, drinks in the Walled Garden, then one long table in the Orangery. No dance floor, no evening guest list, home before midnight.
Our usual Saturday
The full run of the house and grounds for the day: ceremony in the Long Gallery, drinks in the Walled Garden, breakfast in the Orangery, dancing in the Tithe Barn until half twelve.
The whole estate, two nights
You arrive the afternoon before, set the rooms at your own pace, sleep here, and stay for breakfast the morning after. All fourteen bedrooms and the Coach House are yours.
The spaces
Ceremony, drinks, breakfast, dancing. Nobody walks more than eighty metres between them, and every outdoor space has an indoor twin for the morning the sky opens.
120 seated · 150 standing
Licensed. Oak floor, south windows the length of it.
160 seated · 200 standing
Glass roof, doors straight onto the terrace.
90 seated · 200 standing
Beams at nine metres. Music to 00:30, bar to 00:15.
The place
Sixteen years later the barn takes two hundred people and the roof is sound. What has not changed is the rule we started with: one wedding a day, and whoever shows you round is still here on your Saturday.
How the planning goes
Viewings run every Thursday and on our open days. Bring whoever you like. Forty minutes, no pitch, and you will see the barn dressed if there is a wedding the next day.
We hold your date for fourteen days at no cost and tell you honestly if anyone else is asking about it. Nothing is signed and nothing is charged.
The deposit is 25%, the contract runs to two pages, and the price is fixed from that day. Nothing moves later except your guest numbers.
You pick one of four caterers and taste before you commit. The supplier list and the floor plans come in the same email.
Two hours in the Orangery with your coordinator, walking the timings hour by hour: arrivals, speeches, cake, first dance, carriages.
Final numbers, table plan, dietary requirements and the balance. After that your coordinator handles the suppliers so you do not have to.

What couples say
★★★★★Priya answered every email inside a day for eighteen months. On the day itself I did not speak to a single supplier. That is what we were paying for and that is what we got.
Amelia W. · Married June 2025
★★★★★It rained until eleven. They moved the ceremony inside, then moved it back out at half twelve when it cleared. Nobody asked us to decide anything.
Jonah T. · Married September 2025
★★★★★Two nights meant we actually saw our own wedding. Breakfast the morning after, with everyone still there, is the bit we talk about most.
Ruth C. · Married May 2025
Open days
Three Sundays a year the house is dressed as though a wedding starts at two. Walk in, take the tour, talk to the caterers, leave.
Barn dressed for an evening, caterers cooking in the Orangery
Winter set-up, fires lit, mulled wine in the Walled Garden
All four caterers here with tasting plates
If it is gone we will say so in the first reply, and point you at the Friday before or the Sunday after rather than hold you on a waiting list.
