Check your date

Availability shown here is part of the demo. On a live site this reads your real diary, and a date you hold is a date nobody else is shown.

Three ways to do it

Forty people by the fire, or a hundred and sixty for two nights.

Every package is venue hire with exclusive use. Catering is quoted separately by whichever of our four caterers you choose, so you are never paying us a mark-up on food.

The spaces

Six rooms and lawns, one route through the day.

Ceremony, drinks, breakfast, dancing. Nobody walks more than eighty metres between them, and every outdoor space has an indoor twin for the morning the sky opens.

The place

Bought in 2009 with a leaking roof and a barn full of straw.

Sixteen years later the barn takes two hundred people and the roof is sound. What has not changed is the rule we started with: one wedding a day, and whoever shows you round is still here on your Saturday.

More about the hall

How the planning goes

Six moments between the first email and the last dance.

Before you book

Come and walk it

Viewings run every Thursday and on our open days. Bring whoever you like. Forty minutes, no pitch, and you will see the barn dressed if there is a wedding the next day.

The same week

A free fourteen-day hold

We hold your date for fourteen days at no cost and tell you honestly if anyone else is asking about it. Nothing is signed and nothing is charged.

To confirm

Twenty-five per cent and two pages

The deposit is 25%, the contract runs to two pages, and the price is fixed from that day. Nothing moves later except your guest numbers.

Twelve months out

Caterer, tasting, suppliers

You pick one of four caterers and taste before you commit. The supplier list and the floor plans come in the same email.

Three months out

Planning meeting on site

Two hours in the Orangery with your coordinator, walking the timings hour by hour: arrivals, speeches, cake, first dance, carriages.

Two weeks out

Final numbers and balance

Final numbers, table plan, dietary requirements and the balance. After that your coordinator handles the suppliers so you do not have to.

What couples say

4.9 out of five, from 148 reviews.

★★★★★

Priya answered every email inside a day for eighteen months. On the day itself I did not speak to a single supplier. That is what we were paying for and that is what we got.

Amelia W. · Married June 2025
★★★★★

It rained until eleven. They moved the ceremony inside, then moved it back out at half twelve when it cleared. Nobody asked us to decide anything.

Jonah T. · Married September 2025
★★★★★

Two nights meant we actually saw our own wedding. Breakfast the morning after, with everyone still there, is the bit we talk about most.
