The caterers are the only closed list, and that is because they hold keys, know the kitchen and have to hit the timings we promise you.

Questions

The six we are asked at every viewing.

Is it really exclusive use?

Yes. One wedding a day and the gates are shut. There is no second party in the barn and no hotel guests wandering through your photographs.

Can we bring our own caterer?

Not for the wedding breakfast. Four caterers hold keys, know the kitchen and carry the right cover, and using them is how we keep the timings honest. Everything else is open.

What about corkage?

Bring your own wine for the tables and fizz for the toast at £14 a bottle corkage. Spirits and the evening bar are ours, which is what keeps the licence clean.

What happens if it rains?

Every outdoor plan has an indoor twin, and your coordinator makes the call by 9:00 so nobody spends the morning looking at the sky. Moving back outside later is normal here.

Is the house accessible?

Level access to the Long Gallery, the Orangery, the Walled Garden and the accessible WC. The Tithe Barn has a ramp at the north door. Two ground-floor bedrooms have wet rooms.

How do we pay?

Twenty-five per cent to book, half twelve months out, and the balance two weeks before with the final numbers. There is no service charge added on top.
