Customer records and campaign emails in one panel: Bağlıca Bisiklet.
Bağlıca Bisiklet keeps its customer records and its campaign emails inside its own commerce platform, so an order, the customer behind it and the message that follows all sit on the same record.
We wanted the store to reach its own customers from its own platform, so that an order and the conversation around it sit on the same record.
Overview
Bağlıca Bisiklet is a store with a long history in Ankara, selling bicycles, accessories and spare parts. Its catalog of close to 550 products from 15 brands, with hundreds of variations behind them, runs on a custom commerce platform we wrote from scratch in 2026, and this case study covers the customer side of it.
Rather than one system for customer records and a separate service for campaign emails, both were built into the platform itself. Opening a customer in the panel shows who they are and which orders they have placed in the same place.
Newsletters and campaign emails are prepared and sent from that same panel. The recipient list is not exported, reformatted and uploaded somewhere else; the message goes out from where the customer is already registered.
The Challenge
In a store this size customer information usually ends up scattered: some of it in the order screen, some of it in a phone book, and the mailing list in an email tool somewhere outside. For Bağlıca Bisiklet we wanted the customer side to live inside the platform itself.
When customer records sit in a separate piece of software, the account on the website and the person the store knows stop being the same person.
When order history is detached from the customer record, seeing who bought what takes two screens instead of one.
When campaign and newsletter sending sits outside the platform, the recipient list has to be carried over by hand and the two sides kept in step.
A customer who only ever buys at the counter never enters the system, so the audience the store can actually reach is limited to the people who ordered online.
The customer side lives inside the platform.
Customer records, order history and campaign or newsletter sending were brought together in a single panel. The store reaches its own customers from its own platform.
Customer, order and message on one record.
The bottom line.
When a campaign or a newsletter goes out, the recipients are already inside the platform, so exporting a list, uploading it again and keeping two copies in step simply never comes up.
Because the order and the customer share one record, looking at someone's history while discussing their order does not mean switching screens. The panel became the single surface where the store runs both its selling and its contact with customers.
The result is a setup with fewer moving parts: the website, the store panel and customer communication all sit on one platform, and starting a new campaign does not start with opening a new account somewhere else.
