Do you take walk-ins?
Always. The front bar is kept unbooked and we hold four dining-room tables back for people who simply turn up.
Can we bring the dog?
Yes, in the front bar, the snug and the yard. Water bowls by the fire and a biscuit jar on the counter.
Is there parking?
Two hours free on Cold Bath Road after 18:00, and the multi-storey on Victoria Avenue is a seven-minute walk.
Do you cater for children?
Small plates from the main menu at half price for under twelves, and half roasts on a Sunday at 11.00.
Can we book the whole pub?
The snug takes 14 and the dining room 48. For the whole place, email Marie and she will talk you through a Monday or a Sunday evening.
Closed Mondays. Open every other day.
