The menu

Written on a Monday, cooked the same week.

This is the standing menu. The chalkboard changes with whatever the market and the boats send, so ask what is on the board when you sit down. Kitchen 12:00 to 21:30, Sunday 12:00 to 17:00.

Sundays

Roasts from twelve until they run out.

We roast 40 kilos of Yorkshire sirloin and six pork bellies every Sunday. When the board is empty, that is the day done. Every roast comes with duck-fat potatoes, roasted roots, greens and a jug of gravy. Yorkshire puddings keep coming until you say stop.

Behind the bar

Four cask lines, kept properly.

Beth pulls a sample through every line before service and the cellar is assessed twice a year. If a pint is not right, say so at the bar and we will change it without a conversation about it.
