Six vans, eleven engineers, one phone number.
Dan Radley started the firm in 2006 with one van and a rota he covered himself. The rota is now shared by eleven employed engineers, and it is still an engineer who answers the phone at two in the morning.
We employ our engineers. That is the whole difference.
Subcontracted emergency work is a lottery: the firm you rang takes the booking, sells it on, and whoever turns up has no reason to see you again. Every Radley engineer is on our payroll, on our rota and on the same fixed prices, so the person at your door has to face you next winter as well.

You call, an engineer answers
Not a call centre. Tell us the symptom or the error code and we will tell you if it is something you can safely reset yourself.

We give you an arrival window
A 90 minute window for emergencies, a two hour window for booked work. If we are running late you get a text before the window closes.

Price agreed before any work
The call-out is fixed. Parts are quoted and shown to you on the van before they go in.

Signed off and left tidy
Photos of the work, the parts you paid for handed over, and the certificate emailed the same day.

The workshop
Parts on the shelf, not on order.
We hold pumps, diverter valves, plate heat exchangers, expansion vessels, fans and PCBs for the boilers that fill South London lofts and airing cupboards. The van is loaded for the week and topped up from the unit in Croydon every morning, which is why so many faults are fixed on the first visit rather than the third.
