One parcel, the whole investment: SPEC Danışmanlık.
SPEC's new bilingual site follows one parcel of land through six services and shows every grant rate with its conditions, its ceiling and its official source.
We stopped listing what SPEC does and started showing what happens to an investment.
Overview
SPEC Danışmanlık advises investors, businesses and institutions on agriculture and food investments: feasibility, site selection and permits, grants and incentives, turnkey setup, green-transition compliance. It is deep, technical work, and it does not sum up easily in a sentence.
So the brief for the new site was a question of explanation before it was a question of design. The firm's own view gave us the starting point: the most important stage of any investment is the decision itself. The headline became "The right investment starts before the foundation", and the site was organised around the road that follows from it.
On the home page a single empty parcel of land carries the whole story. As the visitor scrolls, it moves through SPEC's six services in the order an investment needs them: the decision is taken, the boundaries are surveyed, funding rises, a facility is built, crops and solar panels appear, and at night the neighbouring parcels connect. Each stage opens onto its own service. The same language runs through the small details: rows are planted as the page loads, and the transition between pages is drawn in the same lines.
The Grant Path turns the firm's most frequently asked question into a tool. A visitor picks what they want to do, from a food-processing plant to an irrigation investment, and sees the programmes that may fit. A rate never appears alone: it comes with its conditions, its ceiling, its status and a link to the official text, and a programme without a published figure simply says that it varies by call. Honesty is the design decision here, because a grant adviser's reputation depends on not overpromising.
The Investment Guide does the same work for search. Nine guides on grants, permits, feasibility and EU rules, in Turkish and in English, each open with a short answer and carry a table of contents, frequently asked questions, official sources and a date of last update. They connect to the services and to the Grant Path, so a reader who arrives with one question finds the next step. Structured data on every page type, a bilingual sitemap and a machine-readable map of the site give search and answer engines the same clear picture.
International investors get their own road: a dedicated section in four steps, from market and opportunity to financing, and a compliance section that answers the question an exporter actually has about European regulation: which rule affects me directly, and which does not.
Underneath sits the work a visitor should never have to think about. Old addresses are redirected to their new homes. The contact form is verified on the server and carries a data-protection confirmation, so bots are turned away before they reach the inbox. Measurement runs only with consent, the cookie notice never locks the page, and the privacy, data-protection and cookie texts are in place in both languages.
The Challenge
The site we built for SPEC in 2024 had done its job: it put a technical firm in front of investors. But an investor's questions arrive in an order, and the firm's expertise was still being read as a list.
Six services appeared side by side, although an investor meets them as a sequence: decide, locate, fund, build, comply, scale.
A grant percentage is easy to quote and easy to misread; without its conditions and its ceiling it promises more than it can keep.
Investors search for precise answers on grants, permits and EU rules, and those answers need official sources behind them.
Bots kept filling in the contact form, so the real enquiries had to be picked out of the noise by hand.
From a list of services to the life of an investment.
We rebuilt SPEC's site around a single parcel of land, turned the firm's most common question into a tool and answered the rest in a bilingual guide built on official sources.
One parcel, six services
A 3D scene carries one piece of land through decision, site, funding, setup, compliance and scale as the visitor scrolls.
The Grant Path
Pick an investment and see the programmes that may fit; every rate comes with its conditions, ceiling, status and official source.
A guide built on sources
Nine guides in two languages, each with a short answer, FAQ, official sources and a date of last update.
Two languages, two audiences
Turkish at the root, English under /en, localised addresses and a dedicated road for international investors.
Short enough to read, exact enough to trust.
The bottom line.
An investor can now follow an investment from the first decision to the last connected parcel, check a grant rate against its official text before picking up the phone, and find plain answers in either language.
This is the second site we have built for SPEC, and it does a different job from the first: the first presented the firm, this one explains what the firm knows. It is new, so the numbers will come later; what is already in place is a site that says what SPEC does as clearly as SPEC does it.
