Weekly meals, one platform: Yasemin Meal Delivery.
How we replaced a patchwork of disconnected tools with a single, three-layer platform, and switched Yasemin from rigid monthly plans to flexible weekly ordering.
Yasemin’s customers couldn’t even see the meals they ordered. So we rebuilt the entire business on one platform.
Overview
Yasemin Meal Delivery delivers home-cooked meals across the Netherlands, Germany and Belgium. But the business ran on a patchwork of disconnected tools: a basic marketing page on one side, and a separate ordering panel where customers couldn’t even see the meals they were buying on the other.
They came to us wanting to bolt yet another express-ordering channel onto the existing setup. We pushed back. More channels on a broken foundation only deepen the chaos. What Yasemin actually needed was the opposite: one platform that carried the whole business end to end.
So we designed and built it from scratch, as three connected layers: a customer-facing storefront, an operations backend, and a dedicated kitchen and delivery portal. Along the way we rethought the business model itself, moving Yasemin from rigid monthly plans to flexible weekly ordering, where a customer can order anything from a single week to a full month.
The Challenge
The old setup wasn’t just dated, it was fragmented. Marketing lived in one place, orders in another, and the kitchen was left to make sense of it all by hand.
A marketing page and an ordering panel that didn’t talk to each other, with no single source of truth.
Customers placed orders without ever seeing the meals they were actually buying.
Rigid monthly-only ordering left no room for customers who wanted a single week or a custom run.
With no structured operations layer, the kitchen turned every delivery day into guesswork.
Three layers, one platform.
We built Yasemin as a single system in three connected layers, each doing one job well, from the customer’s first order to the last meal out the kitchen door.
Customer storefront
A clean ordering experience where customers finally see every meal, choose their weeks, and check out in minutes.
Operations backend
One control center for menus, orders, customers and reporting, replacing the old disconnected panels.
Kitchen & delivery portal
A dedicated portal that turns incoming orders into clear, day-by-day kitchen and delivery lists.
Postal-code logistics
Delivery days driven by postal code, so every meal is routed to the right address on the right day.
Tiered subscription pricing
Discounts scale with commitment: a different rate for 2, 3 or 4 weeks, all configurable from the backend.
Flexible scheduling
Customers can pause, skip or extend their weeks at any time, with the kitchen plan updating automatically.
Built to scale, proven in months.
The bottom line.
Yasemin moved from a fragmented setup of disconnected tools to a single, purpose-built platform that runs the entire business, from a customer choosing their weekly meals to the kitchen packing the right order for the right address.
By rethinking the business model around flexible weekly ordering and engineering the operations layer for real kitchen logistics, the platform didn’t just digitize Yasemin, it grew them, with sales climbing nearly threefold in the first three months.
